Gellibrand
Burton's Lookout is situated on the main road between Colac & Gellibrand. It offers views over the
Otway Ranges, Lake Colac and down to the Gellibrand River below. Visitor facilities include a picnic
area and a walking track. Continuing the journey to Gellibrand the road winds downhill past the
Old Beechy Oven and levels for the last few kilometres before crossing the Gellibrand River at
the entry to the township.
The Gellibrand Hotel is situated beside the river and the general store is a short distance up the main
street. Situated in the town the Otways Tourist Park
provides accommodation for visitors in a central location.
